Developed by the Home Office Scientific Development Branch (HOSDB) the HG1 KR1 & SP1 Soft Armour Panel (SAP) vest is the British equivalent version of the NIJ Levels.
With Protection so high on the list of priorities with such organizations as Councils and Hospitals, the PSDB vest has been tested to ensure protection against the latest threats in the UK.
This vest covers against 3 threats, Hand Guns (HG1) Edged Weapons (KR1) and Needle/Syringe Resistance (SP1).
The Panels are the thinnest (only 3mm), and the lightest in the UK that offers this amount of protection, flexible and robust.
